Wind looked pretty decent when I headed down to the lagoon, but then started gusting like crazy. Managed to get out on the 12 but then the wind dropped as soon as I did, leaving me stranded on a sandbank in the middle of the lagoon with little wind!

After dragging all my kit back onto the beach the wind picked up again to 20+. Too strong to go out on the 12 again so Shem offered to let me borrow a 5m he had in the van. Went to fetch that (experiencing a blizzard on the way!) but then the wind was so messy that everyone decided to pack up and go (Shem was out on the 7 before the wind dropped again). Worst session ever!
